This time we will tell you briefly about Sea Cliff beach, a virgin, public and beautiful beach of the Pacific with a mixed surface of white sand and shallow sea and its bottom goes down smoothly. Ideal for swimming or practicing all kinds of water sports.

It is located about 10 to 15 minutes after La Ermita beach, in Rio Hato, Cocle province and from Panama City, a little more than an hour by car.

Currently it has access with entrance to the beach for cars made by the locals and on weekdays the facilities are visited by few people so you will have the beach all to yourself, after me hahaha. While on weekends the small restaurant they have installed there sells fried fish with patacones, sodas/water and others and they charge you a small fee that can be between $5 to $8 for the use of the ranchos that the administrators of the place have there at the time.

So we recommend you to bring everything you might need on a day at the beach: drinks in a cooler, food, tarp, sunscreen, umbrella, as there is very little protection from the sun.

Finally we share a secret with you: at La Ermita beach the fishermen go fishing every day and if you want to get fresh seafood you can go there and will get for example good sized red snapper (parco rojo) or beautiful lobsters, at reasonable prices than in your local mercado, doesn’t your mouth water?
